See Beyond

Followers (of Christ),

244 times, we were able to find the Bible referring to Mountains, almost all of which are analogies, descriptions, symbol, held as "sacred". About power, relationship of earth and it's inhabitants to up beyond the peaks to the heavens to which they point, typically of God and his relations to the people. It can be political or religions, military power often described about nations, peoples and as mountains that have power. Nations or superpowers of the earth are often called mountains, and we of the USA are quite distinctly one of the mountains referred to, and Jerusalem...a mountain.  Mountains even surround Jerusalem. Mountains mean so many things.  What seems to be the most important thing, is not what the role of the USA is entering about Jerusalem or the rest of the world, but what is the individuals roles within the USA about this time period of changes. We see extremism abandoning many of our mainstays beliefs, founding documents, and a society getting very contentious and confused. It sometimes doesn't seem like we live is a lands thought of "the mountains"...yet, that's what happens when we view the world through Facebook and MSM...all of which bias can paint any picture it wants, instead of stepping outside and just looking at the real mountains for our thoughts.

Mountains also can become a way of reminding humans of their reliance on God of who they come from, and in our local regions, the parchness and lack of snow and rain draws or focus back to our frailty that we can not exist were it not for his power on high. Isaiah 42:15 "I will lay waste the mountains and hills And wither all their vegetation; I will make the rivers into coast-lands And dry up the ponds". Ok....we are getting parched down here below the peaks,...we get that part. Tell us the rest of the story now that we are supposed to "get".

Look To The Mountains, What Do You See?

This here is a May 19, 1982 picture of...Mount Saint Helens. In simplicity of symbol, Mountains are something we look to. The mountains, they speak sometimes you know...

It seems simple, ...mountains are what we look to. From wherever we stand, it is where we cast our gaze, physically, and mainly spiritually. In a way of words, mountains tell us things when we look to them, and if we don't see the water coming, we look even higher with our spiritual eyes past the peaks to our God to help us endure drought, and bring the cycles of years back to us in water someday.

It is a reminder perhaps, that as the lands become dry, the true thirst is among the people for their God, and we always see process and cycles in nature, we find it in ourselves too as a people. On this soil even as much as the holy lands, you are one of those people God relates to in his words, and he is trying to raise you up among the world to be seen as his. Isaiah 2:2-4 Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the LORD Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it.".  For the "last days"  period this passage seems to refer to, there is only a couple of nations on earth that seem to meet this reference.

The basic purpose in symbols about Mountains as power, could be fair to say  is to get you looking to God in your own life and with you as his people.

Psalms 125:2 "As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever".

God wants you to look to his mountain....to know his son, to share his son down here amongst us all on the earth. 2 Peter 1:16-18  "For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty".  The majesty of God, is his son Jesus Christ. This ministry, Mountain Majesty Ministries, knows who the Majesty of the Mountain is as do most of you.   We heard songs growing up about the purple "majesty" of the mountains, it was, and will always be Jesus Christ. Some show marches on TV and social media of people tearing up the US Constitution, and doing away with many common religious symbols like the cross held dear to many. There is some things they can't take away from us all, and that is the mountains, and what they mean ....we will always have those deeper meanings. It is even unto the very end of the battles, the message of God will still always come from the mountains we all look to.

Simple. We look to the mountains because it is that way with God too, we must look for him, to have him there and know he is there, and yet, with all of us ...not there, but now here with you. We do not need symbols for our faith that other religions terrorist are offended by and atheist courts cower to.  You looked to the mountains, and you found what you were looking for...a sense of reminder of God and his power for you through his son. The difference between looking to the mountains, and actually having his powers for you through Christ, is only a matter of your faith as you look beyond the mountains peak, to him in your heart.

As other nations and peoples of the world look and see how we are, let them see in our hearts who it is we see, when we look unto the mountain (click).
