Followers (of Christ),
Have you had days watching MSM T.V., reading large metro newspapers, the social media attacks and suppression of Christianity, so called conservatives and left with the impression we as followers of Christ are waiting for our societal pink slips? Just religious dinosaurs given a one way travel ticket and a free road map to Le Brea tar pits? A sort of sub-conscious mind control whisper that gets transmitted into our brains at night from our high tech smartphones saying "religion is old fashioned, extinct, silly, give it up"? You snap awake, and see your smart phone laying there almost by your pillow, ....and wonder "was that for real, how did that thought get into my head?"...
Not to make fun of things, everything from "fake news" and many of the mind control projects that have been going on since the 1960's and the agendas of some public schools systems has taken it's toll. Well, it is true we are being saturated in today's society toward disbelief, yet we seem to be holding strong despite the Marxism and secularism spreading among some youth and ultra-radicals hold outs still in power. We overall are still standing as commanded by Ephesians 6:12-13. We are simply looking at the issue of wondering if religion is really declining, or is that just the fake data factories working overtime to "make" you think that? This is a valid question, because this Ministry has overseas readers, and we base upon the premise that the planet wants to know more of Jesus Christ and grow his Kingdom worldwide through technology and see ministries explode in growth as internet gets more and more global. Would we be wasting our time to do so if religion is dying?
Tell Us The Truth, Is Religion Really A Dinosaur Dying?
Religion is growing. Yet, it is rooted to population regeneration, and the fastest reproducers and expanders of growth seem to hold the key. Would you believe us if we told you that from1970-2020, the past data trends and current is on track to show that Atheism is shrinking from 4.5% to 1.8%. Atheism is decreasing, not growing. That Christianity is not shrinking, but holding steady, and slightly increasing, but only by about a tenth of a percentage point. Yet of the growth in the Christian sector, some mainstay denominations are shrinking, while others grow..,so it seems mostly "reconfiguration on the inside" of latter days. Religion was held by 82% of the worlds population in 1970, and the projected increase in 2020 is to 90%. World population presently is 7,632,819, 325, and Custer County Colorado population this Ministry operates out of, is...well, 4, 874 and this ministry blog just hit 15,000 (fifteen thousand) reads that is over three times the population size of the County it comes out of, and other meaningless stats.
Over 2.3 billion of the worlds population is Christian, and reportedly is still the largest population in the world, though declining in Europe.
However, Muslims are the fastest growing, and projected to be the future over taker if current world population and growth trends continue, but does not appear it will be the case.
People wonder if "last days" will have a great population reduction. Curiously, the "last days" was not first mentioned in Revelations as you might think. The very first book of the Bible, Genesis is the first to speak of the "last days"? Right from the get go the "last days" was first mentioned in Genesis 49 KJV "Gather together that I may tell you, what shall befall you in the last days". Yet check this out, again we see "last days" in Deuteronomy 31:29 when Moses explains "For I know after my death you will act corruptly and turn from the way which have commanded of you:and evil will befall you in the latter days, for you will do that which is evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking him to anger with the work of your hands." If you take the verse in context of Deuteronomy 28-32 and Leviticus 26 you find the following: God was establishing his Covenant with his people. Then find connection in the New Testament such as Romans 9-11, and Book of Revelation and you might see that "last days" spoken of actually refers to end of the Old Covenant, not the last days of the earth. If you did not know the "last days" was typically a reference to the Old Covenant, then it is pretty unique compared to what some of us used to think. In a sense we are not in "the last days",...but the new days are already upon us? Billions on earth we must still get the words of Christ out to.
We did not say there is no "Tribulations", but even the Book of Revelations makes clear even after all the apocalyptic goo is squeezed from it's seals and out of the bowls, that there will be survivors and God is with us. Yet what if the hypothesis that "last days " was mainly about the Old Covenant, an it means we are supposed to share Jesus Christ with the world population that is not 32.2 percent Christians who do not know yet the "last days" already came to the old Covenant and our new covenant must be shared?
If you have thought about ministry to share the words of God, ...this is a great time to do it with many billions to reach.
Religion for this worlds billions is far from over, and the New Covenant is only started. <click.
Blessings,
