The Awful Labels

Welcome to the endless and curious awe inspiring maze of the "label" loosely referred to as "Christianity". No one person is totally sure what the word really is (except Christ?). Seems to be at least a theological expression with about 40,000 different "sects". Possibly even 51,314 different varieties of, and approximately 400,000 churches in America though we say there is even more than that, as to each "Christian", there is  no two who are identical, think, perceive, believe or act totally alike. If it is a religion, it shapes around or from within you, and the Christ (Kingdom of Heaven) inside of you, as individualized as there is numbers of people on earth who have chosen to follow Christ. Is "Christian" a label, or is it about the "contents" of what the label describes as who the person follows? Well,....by no mistake, this Ministry says "Followers of Christ" as it describes an action, of one that follows, and the other (Christ) that leads. Still, to the observer....how will they know if others are "Christians"?

We tried to find out, and decided to leave it up to you to answer in your own life and how others come to an answer. One reader seemed to "complain" of our use of the religious descriptive "label" of "Christian". Yet, that is the very point, the original uses of the word "Christian" in the Bible, were to specifically label for purposes of distinction to following Christ. We will maintain that focus as billions still have not heard the name of the Christ whom gives the great commission to begin with. We offer some suggested guidelines about the religious brand label of "Christian" of whom our new born baby boy from Christmas is to follow...

Our "Christian" Brand Label, A What, A Who Or Is An Action Of Our "Christian" Label?

Our boy Jesus Christ came to spiritually feed the entire world...the whole world. He is of love, and we must share from his love so they know we are Christians that follow him. God is love, that is who we follow as the saints, the ones consecrated to God through Christ. Is it just a religious brand label for you?

We find the Bible in King James version only says the word "Christian" 3 times in the New Testament.  Some argue against the label "Christian" and say without introducing much evidence that it might be "mistranslated".(Acts 11:26; 26:28; and 1 Peter 4:16).  Only three times, so we don't over-stress the word issue, as opposed to context who it points to in Jesus Christ and what it means of how we then should be in love to others.  As a label, it is just an awful label unpopular to the ignorance and hate filled, as some like to rail against it. Yet we dig deeper in the scriptures to find older more root terms. What we find elsewhere in the Bible is the awful word hagios, which is Greek for those awful "Saints", which in turn means one who is awful Holy or consecrated to or with God. How awful!?  Pardon our humor on the word play, but awful back then, was a good thing to be filled with awe of our awesome God. It is only "lately" of today others give it new meaning as something possibly adverse. It now means the opposite of what it used to. In future blogs, we will show at least some interesting claims how Christ came for all peoples, all religions even whether they use the "label" Christian or not. What in portions seems to matter is two key commandments,...love God, love your neighbor, and Jesus Christ showed us how many times.

It is good to follow Christ, who is love. Still how will others "know" if you are Christian beyond the brand label?

If You Follow Christ You Follow Love That Shows The Way

Bigger than a Beatles Song about "Love Is All We Need", is providing and sharing the element of love needed. Christ did to us, lets in turn show it to others so they "see" and "have" it beyond words said in Sundays. Love is the Christ "contents" deeper than just the "Christian" "label".

That actually comes from John 13:35 which says "35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.".

Just that simple, if you follow Christ, you and others will know it by the awful (awe filled) love that you show  :)

Ten-10

Followers (Of Christ),

Ten. That is the number of new Iridium internet satellites that Space-X just put into low orbit above earth for a private company with a single Falcon 9 rocket on October 9th 2017.  The satellites unloaded in space and flawlessly deployed and engaged signal on all ten telephone relay stations, with broadband ability. Older satellites farther away in space that have "lag"/"latency" or that slow reaction or echo you get from delayed reactions. Not the lower orbit satellites, they are faster. Clearly signalling the technology and ability to place low orbit satellites in large numbers is do-able to achieve global internet in years ahead. Also signalling the birth of this developing internet form of Ministry is proper timing to develop, as the technology horizon of the entire of the planet is becoming visible as discussed in prior blogs about the kingdom.

As technology advances with each passing week, so does the ministry developments taking shape also advance as well as the message we share. Domain secured and pages being developed truly be able to "pass it on" is starting finally.  Whether one is in the rural outlaying areas around Westcliffe Colorado wanting some access to the fiery love of God, or somewhere in Ukraine, Iraq,  or elsewhere, we are commanded to send and share the "fire". The good kind of battle by fire, of sharing and passing on Gods love from the mountain tops to the furthest reaches. Holy Spirit fire of love.

Why Pass It On?

Hebrews 12:28-29 describes a behaviour of Gods love that spreads like a fire, and consumes. A good thing actually. No alarms please, this is not a current picture near you, just a pictorial image to helps us have an anaology of "fire behaviour" how it works to spread intense love of God.

If you are saved, have a relationship with God, the duty is to share and pass it on about God. Yet in that process, keep re-claiming continually the love of Gods nature for you learning Gods words in new ways and new twist you didn't know before. Otherwise if you share, it is just "grudgingly" sharing God based on hollow vain repetition of Bible versus.  We see a world otherwise filled with hollow religions based on repetition and ritual. Get beyond that to love. Take a few minutes today to reconnect to the love of God first to "keep it real".


Hebrews 12:28-29 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.

Our God is a "consuming fire". Actually speaking to the Hebrews as conquerors to conquer through the love of God. Sometimes people listen to the song "Pass It On", about sharing Gods love and you can click that blue link to listen to the song in a you-tube video. Re-experience the smooth power and flowing peace of Gods love in the song and if you feel a slight tear jerk in your eye from the subtle fire winds of the Holy Spirit blow through your soul,...it is quite OK to allow a small tear and soften up some inside hardness for a moment.  The lyrics talk about how it only take  a spark, to get a "fire" going. If you experience even just a quick moment of "awe" or "gratitude" , then you actually "remember" and "re-capture" that spark that you once experienced at some point in life and realize....you must pass it on to those who also feel a yearn for love and connection with God yet who just don't know what his son's name is yet (Jesus Christ). It only takes spark, to get the fire of God going into peoples hearts all across the globe. The electric power, and the radio frequencies involved in the internet from above is just the electrical side of how the message is carried to you and others, that fire that it is carried about to the world...is a different frequency the human heart tunes in to of...Gods love.


 What Fire Context Is The Book Of Hebrews?

This is what Hebrew language looks like (public domain). Essentially meaningless, until you read it (and find it talks about the spark of the consuming fire, called  Jesus Christ who fulfilled and loves)

The more the world learns about the bible and the God of the Hebrews, we see a theme in the future of two main kinds of fire spoken of. One is the "wicked fire" of fury that fits into a 40 litre receptacle and spoken of as a bottomless pit as well, the other is the all consuming fire of the Holy Spirit that is the more powerful fire, of Gods love that fits into the receptacle of the human heart and mind. The Book Of Hebrews written before the fall of Jerusalem and the Temples destruction that occurred later about 70 AD. That is your first clue. Some think it was written by Paul, yet this is not totally for sure as the author appears to have been "anonymous" by intent. It is a well written book of the Bible, yet, the main theme of it, is to describe the "superiority" if you will of Christianity compared to any and all of the world religions. It is not to appear as arrogant saying that as it doesn't focus to the religion per se as to what sets it above, rather, to the Christ of Christianity,....Jesus Christ. The book described Christ being above the angels, superior to law and old covenant, calls for people to be faithful and endure, exhortations and greetings and the bibles "faith hall of fame".  Long story short, it talks about all that points to Christ, as the unshakable Kingdom and his awe and love:

1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

We describe Hebrews as a stairway to heaven kind of book as it covers the past religious orders and the culmination of Christ, and describes him as the fire we are to consume the world with in love from and to him. It is a book written that took into account all the other world religions past, present and future to say "hey,right before us now...this is he, the Christ". If you are going to have a ministry, or to witness, or to share love, this is your book to know The Unshakable Kingdom being of Christ. When we pass it on to share, this is one of the books we stand on and step out in style with. The all consuming fire that goes out unto the world then, now and the future greater yet....is Christ. Jesus Christ. He is the name we give....we share when matching up the unknown name to the tears of love when they feel him, have visions of him in dreams at night in far away lands where his name has been suppressed, or yearn for him but don't know the name of him yet. It is him whom the text of worlds religions have spoken of, even where not always named or is diversely named. Yet his name (in English) spoken then is manifested as Jesus Christ.

The Ministry, the word, Christ, his love and peace. We want to share with the world, those near us, those far from us, share his love and peace of the God of Peace as a all consuming fire for peace in humans in a world of wars even. Yes he is the God of world peace in that day to come even yet to intervene and save us from extinction, the love we are to share and to "pass it on" and to minister is that peace of heart. 20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen 

Bring in the all consuming fire" in that careful dose of love that harms you not, feel the burn to melt off the resisting hardness of your heart for a moment and make it personal, keep it real. Your anti-dote to the wicked fire, is his light, love and warmth of his all consuming fire that is spiritual.

You do not have to go anywhere, it will bring Gods words to you where-ever you are to your smart phone, pad, laptop, computer, etc..Be patient while it is all being worked on over weeks, months and years.

Each time we see satellites going up for internet, ten now, and in 10 years...we are getting closer to the chance to share the consuming fire of his love to the whole world.

Stop! (In The Name Of Love)

Today's message the Ministry wanted to share is, simple, and concise about "God". This will likely be the easiest message you will ever read from this Mountain Majesty Ministry, compared to last weeks blog we will still cover for many years. Actually challenging to write because to share "God", words and speech gets in the way of all that. To share God, to show God, to speak of God, one almost has to be quiet sometimes, and really not say anything, or very little on the biggest and most expansive subject in the galaxy. As much as the Ministry "loves" to share God's love, for this moment, let's create an assumption you and me already know. That God is love. The old song by The Supremes that says "Stop! In the name of love...". Let us stop just a few minutes is all we ask, and think what is love?

What Is God?

To ask what is love, is to ask what/who is God. "What (who) is God". In simplest, essential nature and most powerful form, God is love. Love is God. It is the strongest power and light form we can have, our strongest need, and something we all have "capacity" for. When you feel distant and far from God, focusing to his love draws him near as the fastest and simplest way to find God in his grace made possible in abundant radiance to all humans through Jesus Christ.

So powerful, simple and clear it is, we can reduce our understandings of it ALL as found in 1 John 4:8 "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."

It was not the odddity of Americas Woodstock or Hippies saying and inventing "God is love" where we get this truth from, this was the truth from the beginning of time even. We see a similar verse in 1 John 4:16 "And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him."

The nature of love observed and insights gained, is almost like seasons, and life itself experienced, and that process of maturing to see it's different shades, tones, and depths. Love is different at different times for different people where you are contentful and peaceful see what it is, and yet, seeing it, is only part of it. Fortunately there are always others I learn about love from, who know it better than I who even show me. It has to be a whole picture and also a action of how we even want to be. We see it described in its states of how we should be to reflect it. Sometimes easier said than done, in 1 Corinthians 4-13 "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;2 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. 13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."


Love is something we need above all, yet it is seen, and not always received due to short-comings to our insights and actions, but given and shared is part of the deal to it. A most complete circle within our heart is when it is from above, and into us to make love make more sense, and easier to understand as a commandment even. Aside from perfected love we have from God through his Son, I am sorry to say it is not something any of us says "okay, Im done, I loved and know love...lets move on to the next subject". It is even a learning experience ongoing no one here on earth presently fully masters, but Jesus did express the greatest degree of it to us all (even he is not done with us on earth yet) in the greatest act to all.

 It Is This Simple

Complicated, massive, the subject "God" is, love is, and the Bible. How then can we reduce the size of a blog about God and love and where this Mountain Majesty Ministries is going in days and years ahead through internet? For one, keep reading them and subscribe at the top of the blog is the e-mail sign up. Yet God reduced it all to to three things primarily...1-Giving us his Son 2.-His Son leaving us two commandments through all else is fulfilled in what he taught and gave us. Mark 12:30-31King James Version (KJV) 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Mathew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you Just ask for love, and you will receive. Even if saved already, we should keep asking for love, because it can still keep coming and being received for the asking. Your lifes richness and growth likely stops at times, because you stopped asking for love. Salvation can come as easily asking the Father once through his Son, but love....ongoing, unending, without fail. Do not be afraid to admit, you often forget to "ask" for love. It is right there, we just forget.

This day, "stop!" in the name of love even if just 15 seconds of thought directed to God, to say a simple breathing-awake-prayer asking to have love and wait for that moment of peace and see how he shows it in days ahead.
